YSEALI Seeds for the Future Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by Cultural Vistas since 2017, is a small grants competition empowering young leaders in Southeast Asia. Focused on Civic Engagement, Economic Empowerment, Social Entrepreneurship, Education, and Environmental Issues, it funds innovative projects fostering positive change in communities and countries across the region. This initiative is made possible through a grant from the U.S. Mission to ASEAN, highlighting a commitment to nurturing the next generation of Southeast Asian leaders.

ABOUT YSEALI

Launched in 2013, the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) is the U.S. government’s signature program to strengthen leadership development and networking in Southeast Asia. Through a variety of programs and engagements, including U.S. educational and cultural exchanges, regional exchanges, and seed funding, YSEALI seeks to build the leadership capabilities of youth in the region, strengthen ties between the United States and Southeast Asia, and nurture an ASEAN community.
